I just checked and the font size of the news item text is the same, whether I go there directly in news or click on your link in your message and view it in the small popup window. this is font size 12 px (the default and exactly the same default size as the old software) this is font size 14 px this is font size 16 px this is font size 18 px this is font size 20 px this is font size 24 px this is font size 30 px surely the above font sizes are plenty of variety for any message, article, or news item... and they don't look identical to me. If you MUST have something else just edit the html and change the font size number, as in 8px I applied to this line. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I note that when I go to News in FF and read a (new code) article it appears the same size text* as the message board, which is how I posted it. But when I click on a link from the message board announcing the news item (Msg#s 760000, 759961 ), the pop-up brings up the articles in smaller, harder-to-read text. (Doing it here from Support results in normal size text.) The top two news articles in FF are examples. I mention this because we took a poll a while back and the membership said they preferred larger text in News (and in fact I really should have made the text in both the last two items even larger). On a related note, I see the edit page now has font size options in pixel size and it is limited on both the smaller and larger ends. This is less useful than it was previously. Pixels size is fine but the number of options don't seem as useful--maybe because of my choices? I set my font size to 2 for reading and a couple size look identical on my screen. * old Size 2 or new pixel size 12, I believe |
