So glad to hear from you. We are all well at this time at least.
The weather can not decided if still winter or spring. One week were having record cold and the next week we're in to 70's. A couple of weeks ago the rain tried to was us away again. Patricia and I took turns staying up all night for two nights to pump the water out of the basement. Today it's in the low 60's and by Monday we are going back up into the 70's. Ryan was going to school to become a lineman but he injured in shoulder and has had to drop out for a while. He did get a call the other day but was only gone a couple of days. Katies mother had her back surgery and has been back to work for about a month but week after next she has to have another surgery this time on her knee she tore both meniscus in the knee and broke one of the small bones in the back of her knee. Lexi is doing better. After her forth illness. She has gone 4 weeks being well. But I did have to take Eva to the drs. three weeks ago but hers did last but a couple of days. Sorry to hear your and Damon have had bad colds. They can be a pain. Eva is enjoy her 3D pen and she really loves her echo show. As soon as she opened it she said finally and ran to her room with it and gave her old echo to her grandmother. Katies is going to install it at her mothers house then we can talk to each other over the echo and don't need our phones. I really us to love going to the craft shows. Here they have them all over the place. They have one every weekend downtown. Crafts, food, and fresh produce. Oh I didn't notice how late it was getting and I have to fix dinner. Love You Kyra |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hi Kyra, where has the time gone? It’s already March and I have no idea how January and February zipped by so fast. It has been raining off and on all day and it’s raining now at 7:40 pm. Love to hear it. We might get more tomorrow but I’m not going to get my hopes up for that. How have you all been? I know you’re getting lots of weather there too. Has Ryan been having to go out on calls? Difficult job but so necessary to keep the lines up. How’s Katie doing and her mom? Hope both are doing good. I’m sure Eva and Lexi are doing good. Hope they stay healthy, especially Lexi. Good to hear you had a good Christmas. How’s Eva doing with the 3D pen and her Echo? Betty she is a professional now ?? We’re finally both feeling good after the colds we got in December. I ended with bronchitis but that’s gone but still have a cough that’s sticking around. The cough has been going around at work and nothing other than time seems to work getting rid of it. I’ve been using the cotton yarn you sent to make potholders. They are turning out really nice. Don’t know if I will participate in craft shows this spring or not. The one that was across from our church is no more. The woman who started it is a Commander in the Navy and she’s been working in Washington DC and her family is here in Santee, California. Well she let all of us know that they are selling the house and the family (husband, daughter, son-in-law and their twin babies) are moving back to be with her in April. That leaves one other option and I haven’t heard from the person who has those yet. Hope so because I have enjoyed them. Looks like for now Damon’s foot surgery will wait till next year. He took a stability test and failed it because his shoulders aren’t strong enough to use crutches or get him out of a chair without using the foot. So now he’s going to be back to the gym working on strengthening his shoulders. Hope it works out for him because that foot is becoming more painful as time passes. Time for me to get some things done before bedtime. Have a good Friday and weekend ?? Hugs?? Colleen Sent from my iPhone |
