Colleen,
I agree with you on not liking green bean casserole. I like my green beans plain and simple. We did have anything special for Easter but when Ryan brought me Lexi the day after Easter he brought me the ham bone left from their Easter dinner and I made up a big pot of beans. So we had that and corn bread for dinner that night. Lexi loves beans I think I have all the parts for the knitting machine printed. I have have on part I need to cut out on the lazer cutter. Joshua DeLesil used a wooden base for his and I have to cut down all the needles to fit. So once I finally get it together I will upload a picture of it. It's been fun learning how to use this printer. It did take several days to print the parts but less than 1 roll of pla+ filament which was about $16.00. I miss going to the craft fairs. But Patricia likes to go to them with Jackie. Lexi is sick with Bronchitis. Katie took her to the drs. Friday and she is already doing better. We are just waiting for Eva to show up she has a two hour supervised visit with her father. Sorry to hear about your friend. It's hard losing someone you have been friends with that long. You know I lost Hayden 19 years ago on Easter. He would have love Lexi and Eva. He loved Kathie very much. But he would have loved Lexi's love of art. She is a hoot. She told her mother that art was all in the details. Oh Patricia and I built a sanding box so I can sand pieces I 3D print without making a big mess. I found some pieces I printed to put on the ends of the box that I can stick my arms into and sand. Well I think Eva is here so I off. Love you Kyra |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hi Kyra, We had a quiet but nice Easter too. Went to church on Saturday for our Easter service. It was going to rain so we didn’t have any outside servIces at all. Damon smoked a ham, had mashed yams, green beans (no green bean casserole do not like it at all) rolls and had hom chocolate chip cookies for dessert. I had the craft fair today and did ok. It was slow but steady for people coming to see and shop. It didn’t die off till about 30 minutes till the fair ended. I even sold a scarf. Sold 3 rice bags too, one of each sizes small, medium and large and quite a few pieces of jewelry. I will have another craft fair on May 4th. Will try and make more jewelry for it. I need a different display for my jewelry. Something like a tri-fold display so som can see everything easily. We’ll see what I can find between now and then. This week has been difficult. My dear friend of 30+ years who lived in Oakfield passed away on Thursday. She had been very ill. Her daughter Jennifer has to get all the stuff done now after she gets the death certificate? Fortunately Nan had her daughter on all the accounts and so she’s ok financially. Just hope she gets good support from the preacher who helped her mom as he’s also a grief counselor. She has a counselor that she sees regularly who also will help. will miss Nan. Never met her in person but we wrote lots of letters, calls on the phone over the years and did lots of texting in current years. You must feel so much better now that your eyes are not bothering you. Happy for you. I am getting my new glasses sometime between now and the 27th. Can’t wait. I bet Lexi loves her rag doll??. That’s must make Eva happy to be able to use her weather station Now . Keep me posted on the sock knitting machine. Send a picture when you get it put together ?? Time for my shower and then to bed. It was a busy day and I’m ready to go to sleep. Have a good day tomorrow. Hugs, Colleen |
