Description: These are the spinning heads (i.e., the flyer-and-bobbin assemblies) on my new/old double-flyer wheel. The yarn you see is my "beginner's yarn": my first effort at spinning flax with two hands simultaneously. The really awful stuff at the very start has been covered up with layers of better yarn. ;-) This yarn was spun dry because I haven't yet figured out how to coordinate myself well enough to spin wet with both hands -- but I'll get there!
