Description: This yarn was spun from a blend of alpaca and silk noil fibers, mixed about 50-50. The fibers were combined with handcards (an interesting process, because the fibers are very different!), then spun on a top-whorl spindle (the always-handy, ever-faithful fiber sampling tool).
