Description: This is a closer view of the towel-in-progress. If you squint just right you can see the "textural" accent in the middle of one of the heavier linen stripes. That's a narrow bit of crackle weave in the middle of the plainweave stripe. This kitchen towel is helping get a "dog" warp off my loom *and* use up the odds and ends from bobbins in the weaving basket -- so it looks like a project, but really it's housecleaning! <G> Uploaded: 5/21/2007 by RuthMacGregor
