Description: This was an accidental quilt. I started out making the Houndstooth pattern from Fat Quarter Quilts. Once the top was assembled, I realized I had put the blocks together wrong and had windmills instead. The top lay dormant for a few months since I didn't have any good unifying border fabric for the reds and purples. A few months later, my daughter and I picked out a cute novelty print to turn this into a baby shower gift for her gymnastics coach. The quilt really is flat and has square corners.
